Over the course of the next couple of weeks, Kimberly and I are going to transform our old shower stall into a beautiful place to bathe.
The
This Formica has failed over the years and is allowing water to seep into the surrounding spaces.
We’ve picked out the tiles and are going to be totally rebuilding the shower from top to bottom.
This is our first actual demo/construction project since we bought the old girl.
Here’s where we start…….
These are the tiles we picked:
6x6 (On the lower part of the wall)

3x3 (done in a diagonal pattern on the upper part of the wall)

3x6 Accent (done in a line between the upper and lower parts of the wall and a strip at the top)

6x6 Floor

3/4x3/4 accent tiles (these will be in the corners of every other 3x3 tile in the upper field and as a line right below the upper line of 3x6 at the top)

Here are the handles that we want...

This is the pattern that I drew up last night. (This took me forever to draw)

We’ll be posting more pictures and progress reports as we get started on this.
Wish us luck, we’ve never done anything like this before.
